Have you ever been to an island?

Answer：Yes, I’ve been to an island in Thailand called Phuket, which is one of the most beautiful islands in Asia. Since it is a pretty famous tourist attraction, there are thousands of tourists from all over the world going there, especially in July and August. Due to its excessive commercialization, I didn’t feel like it, but the seafood there tastes really great with a sensible price.

Are there any island in your country?

Answer: Yes, there are many islands in Hong Kong, and two of the most famous and charming ones are Cheung Chau and Lamma Island. These two islands are both located not far from downtown and they are famous for their delicious cuisines and fantastic scenery. For example, the seafood on Lamma is popular and tasty, so Cantonese cuisines featuring seafood dishes should be a must try for tourists. Similarly, the amazing scenery of Cheung Chau also attracts many travellers thanks to a popular local TV show which was filmed there.

Do you want to live on an island if you have a chance?

Answer: I don’t think I would like to live on an island unless I have no choice. The main reason is that I’m not good at cooking, which means I cannot live without restaurants and take-outs in the city. Besides, I’m a shopaholic. I go shopping nearly once a week, which means I have to stay in the city with many shopping centers. To summarize, I’m a city girl, so it will be very hard for me to live at a remote place and I don’t want to live there.

What do you like to do when you are on an island?  

Answer: The only reason for me to live on an island for some time should be a vacation. I mean I will only go to an island for holiday. And I think I will do some interesting things I haven’t done, like snorkeling which I want to try for a long time. Also, I will enjoy the sunshine on the beach and the fantastic seaside scenery.
